You open a box of cereal and find the contents clinging to the sides of the box
in a mass of fine webs or perhaps you've seen small, brownish moths
flitting around or tiny cocoons and larvae in your dry pasta.
Chances are, Indian meal moths (a.k.a. "pantry moths" or "flour moths")
are at work in your pantry.
Well after weeks of cleaning everywhere they could be I decided to try some of these
"Pantry Moth Traps".
And along with most everything I do I didn't just buy one or two traps.
I bought a dozen and man do they work good.
Just minutes after placing one near the dog food and bird seed containers
I noticed about six of the evil moths flying around the trap,
it caught ten in ten minutes.
Here's the skinny on these Indian meal moths.
These little brown moths attack flour, grains, seeds and cereal,
chocolate, cake mixes, rice, nuts, dried fruit and dog food,
bird seed I even found them in my tea, they go for herbs and spices,
oatmeal and just about any food thats flour based.
Their larvae hatch in stored food.
The traps work wherever food is stored in cabinets and pantries with food,
they’re non-toxic and free of pesticides.
The trap uses both sight and scent to lure moths and attract moths
with powerful pheromones, as well as a black and white printed pattern,
and catch them on the large sticky surface.
If your house is overrun by these evil Mediterranean flour moths,
I highly recomend these traps. I'm not kidding, get them at:
