What has happened to telephone service lately?
I mean if you call anybody looking for anything
your put on hold and a recorded message in broken English says
"your call is very important to us" and that
"calls are answered in the order in which they are recieved".
And that they are "experiencing heavy calls at this time",
"the estimated wait time to talk to a representative
is less than ten minutes".
"You may find faster service visiting our website at:"
da da da da da da dot com.
Twenty minutes later the phone goes click at a dial tone rings in my ear.
I sigh, hang up the phone and decide to write them an email instead.
