SQUIRRELS !

Now that the leaves in the trees are almost gone,
I see more than a few squirrel nests in the branches.
Got me to wondering how Rocky the Squirrel
and all of the other little fury tailed critters even
built a nest of leaves twenty feet up in a tree.
I've learned that they build more than one nest.
Some nests are more loosely erected only as a
secondary home as food around their home depletes.
Some nests are built as decoys to fend off predators.
So now I see squirrel nests in a different leaf so to speak.
