POPCORN TASTE TEST !
I like most microwaved popped corn.
Years ago, when the microwave oven was
first introduced, I tried to pop corn in a brown
paper sandwich bag without much success.
I wondered what they did to make them pop?
Some brands are way too salty while others
have strange not so quite ready for butter tastes.
Another had an oily chemical taste like Lysol.
A few bags didn't pop all of the corn kernels.
One left my fingers a pale shade of yellow.
Any way I taste tested six different brands.
The winner is Orville Redenbacher's light butter.
It's lower in fat than all the other brands and has
just the right balance between butter and salt.
You know just for kicks I might get me some
of the old Jiffy Pop in that big aluminum foil
thing that you cooked on the top of the stove.
Just to find if the new microwave stuff is better.
