No that's not a misprint, Hackberry is a tree.
It's best for food and shelter for wildlife.
It's berries remain on its branches throughout
the entire cold winter months. Quail, pheasants,
woodpeckers, and cedar waxwings feed on its fruit.
Yet another of its valuable qualities is that it's
a larval and nectar source for many butterflies,
the tawny emperor and the mourning cloak and others.
