NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Democratic Gov. Dannel Malloy
and Greenwich businessman Tom Foley,
the Republican Party’s endorsed candidate,
are both appearing before Connecticut’s largest
labor organization to seek their political endorsement.
Members of the Connecticut AFL-CIO on Monday.
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Two of the three Republicans
hoping to become the party’s nominee for governor
are appearing Wednesday evening at the Hartford
Public Library for a primary candidate forum.
Both Senate Minority Leader John McKinney and
Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton agreed to appear.
A campaign spokesman has confirmed that the party’s
endorsed candidate, Tom Foley, will not attend.
