The other day I set a bag of raw peanuts
on one of the rocks around the frog pond.
Thinking to give the squirrels some food.
This morning the back yard was invaded by
a healthy sized flock of cackling crows.
It seems that crows love to snack on peanuts.
It's funny to watch them sneak up on the bag
very slowly and carefully approaching and
then snatching up one nut and flying away.
The squirrel did get his chance at the nuts,
looking out the window, now even the bag is gone.
