It's been awhile since my last Blueberry Farm Report.
Today it's mostly sunny outside and this has been
one of the wettest and coldest springs in memory.
And the weather guy says more rain is forecast tomorrow.
Last week the town has been re-grading our old dirt street.
They really take issue with how our street pot hole clean.
The Neighbor across the street from the farm has been
clearing and cleaning up the brush and growth of weeds
that have been growing on his property near the street.
So what's about the Blue Birds ?
Every spring a family of wild Blue Birds arrives to
check out that old bird house they consider their own.
These are small blue birds, not Blue Jays, Sorry Jay.
You should see them as they fly all over the place.
I think it interesting that they show up in a family way.
One year, a springtime male blue bird that saw his refection
in one of the farm house windows kept flying into the window.
I had to pressure wash the window to get the bird spit off.
It's nice to see them fly around to decide if that bird house
is suitable for them again for yet another year.
The blue bird house Gramps put up on the fence ten years ago,
is not only weathered and worn the top is off of it.
So I decided to buy a new blue bird house for them.
My hair hurts...
It took me more than an hour on the Internet to decide
on a blue bird house to replace the old one.
