Spring has finally sprung here on the farm
but temperatures have been cooler than normal,
Our maple tree hasn't produced any sap.
In a normal season the bucket would be
filled to the top with sap in just one day.
But with the colder temperatures this year,
there's only non syrup making ice in the bucket.
Ideal temperatures are below freezing at night
and in the low 40s and sunny during the day.
