Seems like yet another winter snowstorm
has missed our area going out to the east.
I think that's six close calls in a row now.
Other than perhaps a Red Sox victory,
there's nothing in New England that brings
the community together quite like bad weather.
Affecting everyone equally, a coming snow
storm seems to get strangers talking about it.
After it passes, big storms become local heirlooms,
testaments to the grittiness of those who survived.
I survived the "Blizzard of 1978"
Hopefully warmer weather is now on the way.
