Over the weekend Governor Malloy stated
he isn't interested in running for President.
Too bad...
I'd like to see him do to the rest of the country,
what he's been doing to us in the Nutmeg State.
One example is:
Connecticut's gas excise tax is at .25 cents per gallon.
The Constitution State also collects, among other levies,
a gross receipts tax on gasoline that increased July 1st
to 8.1 percent, which comes out to be 57.9 cents per gallon.
So were paying over .80 cents per gallon of gas to the State.
Makes one feel all kinds of warm and fuzzy inside doesn't it?
