ANDY ROONEY !

I just finished watching the tv show 60 minutes on CBS.
I don't watch much tv anymore finding most of what is aired to be soporific.
There was a time I got hooked on the CBS "news" show having been introduced to it
in my political science class. I remember liking the back and forth opinions on the point / counterpoint segment with Dana Alixandria and Jack Kirkpatrick.
But the real reason to watch the show was at the end of the hour, Mr. Andy Rooney.
Viewing him tonight on sixty minutes made me think that all is well with the world. It was nice to notice that he hasn't given in to the make up womans sugjestion to cut his eye brows. Years ago I noticed he has this parkonson thing going on with his hands but I'm not sure if that's true. Over the years I've noticed his office has become a little bit different. He started out with an Underwood brand typewriter and now has a flat top screen thingy. There always were a ton of books on his shelves, most of which I assume he read sitting in his adarondack chair wearing an elbow padded sweater out of the beaver cleaver years.
Andy Rooney has opined on just about everything from car hood ornaments
to nose hair, all I can say is thank you Andy.
