HOW BIG OF A TELEVISION SCREEN ?

Do I have to get to see the program I wish to watch during a snow storm ?
Sundays I like to turn the television on as background noise while doing a crossword puzzle, in ink as my Uncle Frank would do...I'm finding myself and getting tired of squinting at the t.v. as this kind of picture in picture in picture thing goes on...

Parking bans and school closings, traffic warnings and church closings listed at the bottom and right side of the screen, the left side taking up by the local snow fall amounts from town to town and the top is a scroll of the "this weather report is brought to you by" this or that advertiser.
Along with the channel ID and time of day. I know what time of the day it is and what channel I'm watching. When it snows I know enough to not park on the street.
Of course the schools and churches are closed. What do they think we are all idiots?

They just interupted the football game I'm watching to tell the viewers that "Breaking News" the snow storm is over. I knew that just by looking out the freaking window. And what's up with the volume of the ads on t.v.?
I have to turn down the sound or mute the thing because they are much too loud.

I know what your thinking Waa Waa complain complain. Oh and by the way MTV is now teen aged soap opera t.v. They used to air real music videos now it's just fake life.
