GOODBYE NEW BRITAIN HERALD !

The publisher of The Herald of New Britain and the Bristol Press has told employees that the two newspapers could go out of business by January unless buyers step forward. My Opinion is to take out the Hartford Courant too and I'll feel like I won the trifecta .... For years now the papers have slowly stopped being readable.... and are not good enough to line a bird cage or cat litterbox ....and when you complain about their coverage or lack thereof, you get the most uptight, anal retentive, pencil-necked geek who speaks as if he is SO much better then you ..... I'M GLAD THEY ARE GOING ...... I get my news off the Internet anyway as I'm sure most people do in today's high tech world...too bad real working people have to lose their jobs tho .... that is sad.

  1. There is now a chance to CHANGE the Herald and the other papers. The reason they stopped covering much of what they did is because of corporate decisions that sliced newsrooms and dropped reporters. New owners would, of course, do something new.
You won't get any news about New Britain on the internet if the Herald dies. There won't be any to get.
