GOODBYE SUNSHINE !

This is the time of year that we lose about three minutes of sunshine every day.
The leaves on the trees have started to change colors already and the night time outside air temps are dropping into the hard nipples area, almost as fast as the stock market.

This was a very very tough year to make any amount of gains in the market. Many people have seen their 401 k's take a thirty percent hit, if they were lucky.
I'm one of the lucky ones because my investment philosophy is to be diversified.
What ever happens I'll be in good shape.Might have to wait a few more years but that's o.k. with me.

This is the time of year when the political fireworks really start to fly. This is the time of year when we all are inundated with political ads on the t.v. radio and newsprint media. For better or worse, truth or lies, these ads are mostly annoying.
If I vote this year you can be sure my vote can't be bought. I have always voted for the candidate that stays out of my pocket and gave me freedom to be a capitalist.
This country was founded on four words "In God We Trust". Amen!

Happy Holidays everyone! Oh yeah were heading into the Christmas shopping season even earlier than last year, if that's possible. I know why the stores do it, by bringing out all the holiday crap so early we are urged to buy... It's because the holidays are when they make enough net dollars to pay their taxes and have a little bit left over to pay the bills. Thanks to the Elves people open up their wallets and buy, buy, buy, buy, buy, buy, buy.
Well this year might be just a little bit different, considering the credit crunch we are finding ourselves in, but alas me maties, the credit card will come to the rescue, adding more debt to the family balance sheet.

I'm going outside now to watch the sun set and also the moon shine, hmmm, moonshine.
White lightning and wine?
