GORDIE THE FARM DOG IS NO LASSIE !

He's Gordie the outside farm dog. Living inside, a little bit country and a little bit out of control. He's a long haired Collie dog. About 12 years old(84 in doggie years). He has the art of sleeping down to a tee.Stands about 42" tall, knocking the
kitchen table around and needs a good six feet to turn his self around.Loves to move around the vertical blinds that cover the sliding glass door. And moves furniture at his pleasure. He doesn't like the sound of thunder. Is always looking for a bite to eat.Sheds his long hairs everywhere.Barks for five minutes after a car goes by.Wakes up and falls back to sleep in a snap.He eats what is fed him and then some. With a dib dib here and a dib dib there. He weighs over eighty pounds now. Most of it I'm sure is hair.He looks like a cross between a lion and a big nosed grizzly bear.He goes where he wants when he wants.I'm reading the paper and he comes over to me breathing doggie breath,"What? You need to go out?" I ask.Getting up to let him out the door,Oh no, he wants to go out the other door. And only the other door he will go.This dog moves furniture around like he's a furniture mover. He's a drooler and I swear that after he takes a good long drink of water,he comes over just to spit it on me.His toe nails are long and as he walks over the tile floor you hear, tickity tickity tickity tick.He goes to bed in his "Sunroom/Doghouse"At about 6:30 p.m. every day.Not to awake until the roosters crow.He will come outside and follow me around the grounds where I go,but wants to be inside sleeping.
Which is exactly what he's doing right now.
