Loved John McCain's explanation for the ads that his campaign made recently; the ones that made visual comparisons between Barack and Paris Hilton and the other troubled woman, Spears. He said it was all in good fun in so many words. He said they were going to keep a sense of humor and that this ad represented his sense of humor. He is a funny guy. He must be a hoot to go to parties with!
I saw John McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis on the Today Show the other morning talking about the Paris Hilton Ad. He looks about as shifty as the guy who worked for Bill Clinton. I'd keep that guy out of the media if I were McCain. He may be a funny guy too, but he doesn't look like a funny guy. He looks more like the principal on "Ferris Buehler's Day Off", a conniving, sniveling lout.
I'm eager for a debate. I wonder if Obama will look as funny as John McCain.
Will his humor come through? Is he a funny guy too? We haven't had much of a humor in the White House so maybe it's time for a funny guy to live there for a while.
I think I'll vote for the funny one. So far McCain is the only one to make an effort at humor. His ad was awful, and not funny, but he said he was trying to make us laugh and that must count for something.
Joe Lieberman is trying hard to be the Democrat's John McCain. He's so Liberal that he wants to be a Republican. I wonder if John McCain will tap Lieberman as his VP.
I wonder if he's really going to speak at the Republican National convention.
