Tax the rich until there are no rich no more.

At the heart of Obama's case for the restoration
of "American values" was formally imposing
the so-called Buffett Rule --
the idea that millionaires and billionaires
should not pay a lower percentage rate
in taxes than members of the middle class.

I would go one further than Obama does in
asking the wealthy to pay more in taxes.
Every American should pay their fair share,
why should any citizen pay no taxes?

I'm leaning more and more to a consumption tax,
or a national sales tax that everybody pays.

Can we scrap the income tax all together?
probably not but I'm thinking that a lot
of people are milking the system dry.

mile down a dirt road to get to our mailbox,
USPS was supposed to deliver a package to me
and left one of those postcards that said,

hands on it and now I have to go to
the post office to get the package.

Mixed them all up and formed the meatloaf.
Set the oven to preheat it and waited,
I was surfing the web, heard the beep
that signaled the oven was preheated.

An hour later I went to check if the
meatloaf was done, there it was...
Sitting on the kitchen counter,
I had forgot to put it in the oven.

So I guess I used the oven to heat
up the kitchen just a little bit
on this cold January winter day.

so I had to settle on some jelly donuts.

Well McDonald's is right next door so I
figured I'd get a couple fish sandwiches
to make tonight's supper a quick thing.

Upon opening the paper box the sandwich
comes in I looked down at the thing.
Sadly the fish pattie was at least 1/2
as big as I remembered for it to be.
Didn't even cover the bun...

It still had the calories and salt.

had late school openings because of the snow.
Got me to thinking Wow it must have really

towns to have late school openings.

but no where's near enough to make the
schools have to close 90 minutes late.

also playing long hour nights I would microwave
up myself a Le Menu frozen dinner with toast.
I still have one of those great looking plates and
like to reheat foods using it in the microwave.
Why this product is not around escapes me the most.

Mabey the plates cost too much to make and
Mabey the company was simply bought out.
Mabey it was too good of a thing to last.
Many people still have and use the plates.
Somebody please bring Le Menu frozen dinners

In my humble opinion a zero based budget is needed.
A method of budgeting in which all expenses must be
justified for each new period. Zero-based budgeting
starts from a "zero base" and every function
within an organization is analyzed for its needs and costs.
Budgets are then built around what is needed
for the upcoming period, regardless of whether the
budget is higher or lower than the previous one.

To me he seems to sleezy, a used car salesman type.

I'm looking for a morph of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.
Although Romney's landslide of a slim victory in Iowa
made his day, it didn't compel me to tear down that wall.

Romney, bolstered by the latest popularity polls,
showing his opponents barely making a dent along
with expanding support for him in South Carolina,
makes him into a formidable front runner status.

But not so fast folks, lets see who wins in Florida.
A State that will have the all important electoral
collage numbers, remember the hanging chads?

I've been listening to the other candidates.
Santorum rambles on to much for me at times,
his thoughts are difficult to follow.

Doctor Ron Paul scares me to no end,
I tend to lean on less federal government
but not as less as his radical leanings.

I always liked to listen to the Newt on tv.
He impresses me as to be the smartest guy in the room.
As he speaks you can see he's thinking in a third
demension of sorts, anticipating other peoples thoughts.

Huntsman is very intelligent, but he had a job
in the Obama white house. Would you ... Ever?

And President Obama, he inherited a financial mess
and turned it into a huge financial disaster.
Obama blames the Republican led Congress saying they
have blocked him all the way. Well ya, that's thier job.

That's how things are supposed to work here in America,
no branch of Government has all the marbles in the game.

into yet another fiscally painful new year.

Though U.S. consumer confidence is up,

the prospects for 2012 are bleak.
That’s because the European
situation remains precarious.
Instead of focusing on true fiscal reforms,
Eurocrats are expanding credit.

They remain fixated on short-term fixes
that don’t address the root cause of
their economic problem: massive overspending.

The steps the federal government should take are
Congress needs to ask Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke
about the Fed’s entanglement with the ECB.
Congress should rein in the regulatory agencies
that have created uncertainty in the business community.

Washington needs to adopt long-term tax and entitlement
reforms to restore the confidence of the markets.
Lawmakers should work toward the smaller government
voters indicated they want.
That’s the path to recovery and prosperity.

Thousands of dead blackbirds rained down on a town
in central Arkansas last New Year's Eve after revelers
set off fireworks that spooked them from their roost,

home foreclosures, and bankruptcies.

Their sum total is what I call the Obama Misery Index.
It's at a record high; indeed, it makes even the
malaise of the Carter years look like a boom.

Unemployment has fallen, but it’s fallen to a level
that is still, by any historical marker,
a national disaster.

To suggest it as an achievement is to engage
in what Daniel Patrick Moynihan famously called
“defining deviancy down.”

Twas' the day after Christmas and I found a louse
the creatures were stirring even the mouse.
Smoke from the fireplace hung in the air
because St. Mick had wood smoking there.

The chickens were nested all snug in the coup
wondering which of them would end up as soup.
The Polish Babka ended up feeding the birds
along with fresh cheese of wheys and curds.

Breakfast was served within the kitchen
it was cold outside but warmer within.
sausage and potatoes all in a dish
with spoon in hand St. Mick made a wish.

When out of the pen the roosters crowed fa-la-la
Chasing each other for a piece of that Babka.
As Ladie the farm dog ran in a flash
St. Mick returned to his bangers and mash.

Just like in the days of the Watergate scandle,
we need to follow what the Obama administration
has done and follow where our money went.

President Obama's Chicago-style politics is
just what I expected of this young President.
Chicago-style politics is a by-word used to
designate a set of characteristics associated
to the less commendable aspects of the recent
political history of Chicago corruption,
patronage, nepotism, and authoritarianism.

President Obama reeks of this in evey way.
Don't listen to the silky words he says,
look at the sneaky sleazy things he does.
Bigger government, at the same time they give
dollars to gain voters for they're re-elections.

Obama's Robin Hood philosophy of taking from
those that have and giving to those that not,
only to prop up his voting base fits right into
the Chicago-style political machines tenant.

Everything is getting all up side down.
I think we should tax the poor to pay
for the socialist programs they get.
Think about this for a minute,
if I had to pay for some of what I was
givin free wouldn't I want to need less?

If you didn't see this on the Tonight show,
I hope you're sitting down when you read it.
This is probably the funniest date story ever,
first date or not!!!
We have all had bad dates but this takes the cake.  
Jay Leno went into the audience to find the most
embarrassing first date that a woman ever had.
The winner described her worst first date experience.  
There was absolutely no question as to why her tale took the prize!  
She said it was midwinter...Snowing and quite cold...
And the guy had taken her skiing in the mountains outside Salt Lake City , Utah .  It was a day trip (no overnight). They were strangers, after all, and had never met before. The outing was fun but relatively uneventful until they were headed home late that afternoon.  They were driving back down the mountain, when she gradually began to realize that she should not have had that extra latte. ! ! They were about an hour away from anywhere with a rest room and in the middle of nowhere! Her companion suggested she try to hold it, which she did for a while. Unfortunately, because of the heavy snow and slow going, there came a point here she told him that he had better stop and let her go beside the road, or it would be the front seat of his car.  They stopped and she quickly crawled out beside the car, yanked her pants down and started. In the deep snow she didn't have good footing, so she let her butt rest against the rear fender to steady herself. Her companion stood on the side of the car watching for traffic and indeed was a real gentleman and refrained from peeking. All she could think about was the relief she felt despite the rather embarrassing nature of the situation.  Upon finishing however, she soon became aware of another sensation. As she bent to pull up her pants, the young lady discovered her buttocks were firmly glued against the car's fender. Thoughts of tongues frozen to poles immediately came to mind as she attempted to disengage her flesh from the icy metal.. It was quickly apparent that she had a brand new problem, due to the extreme cold.  Horrified by her plight and yet aware of the humor of the moment, she answered her date's concerns about' what is taking so long' with a reply that indeed, she was 'freezing her butt off' and in need of some assistance! He came around the car as she tried to cover herself with her sweater and then, as she looked imploringly into his eyes, he burst out laughing. She too, got the giggles and when they finally managed to compose themselves, they assessed her dilemma. Obviously, as hysterical as the situation was, they also were faced with a real problem.   Both agreed it would take something hot to free her chilly cheeks from the grip of the icy metal! Thinking about what had gotten her into the predicament in the first place, both quickly realized that there was only one way to get her free. So, as she looked the other way, her first time date proceeded to unzip his pants and pee her butt off the fender.  As the audience screamed in laughter, she took the Tonight Show prize hands down. Or perhaps that should be 'pants down'. And you thought your first date was embarrassing. Jay Leno's comment.... 'This gives a whole new meaning to being p----d off.'  Oh and how did the first date turn out? He became her husband and was sitting next to her on the Leno show.

I just watched a football game on tv
and found that I miss the color that
sports announcer John Madden brought.

One time he focused our attention to
a seagull strutting around on the field.

Another time he made us awares to
the orange sunset in the western sky.

Madden would turn a boring football gam
into an event worth watching just to
find out what he was going to say.

The announcers in todays game didn't
tell us what they wanted for Christmas,
as Madden did in one Christmas Eve game.

on Friday barred high profile Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio
from detaining people simply for being
in the country illegally, in a ruling that faulted
the local lawman for enforcing federal immigration law.

The judge also said officers with the
Maricopa County Sheriff's Department (MCSO),
which covers Phoenix and surrounding areas,
circulated emails that
"compared Mexicans to dogs"
and portrayed them "as drunks."

"Local law enforcement agencies,
such as MCSO, may not enforce
civil federal immigration law,"
Snow said in his written opinion.

Snowpack and icy conditions forced the closure
of roadways across western and southwestern Kansas,
including a western section of the I-70,
the main thoroughfare that traverses the state.

Southwest Kansas is pretty much shut down completely.
The storm was blamed for at least six deaths Monday,
Four people were killed when their vehicle collided
with a pickup truck in part of eastern New Mexico
where blizzard-like conditions are rare.

(I saw a video of the snow, looked like a dusting).
(I guess they don't get snow out there like we do).

INTERNET CONNECTION FIX !

It took me four days after getting hit by that
xp antivirus 2012 to remove all from my pc.
Windows kept telling me it couldn't fix the Internet
connection because it couldn't reset the IP address.

WinSock XP Fix is a utility that repairs
winsock corruption in Windows XP.
The utility is very easy to use.
When you first run it, you will be asked
to create a registry backup of
your current registry settings.
This is in case something goes wrong
and you need to restore your registry.
After this you will be prompted to apply the winsock fix.
Once the fix has been applied, you restart your computer.
After restart, the connection will be repaired.
This worked for me!

It's a dog eat dog world on the Internet
and I'm wearing Milk Bone underware.

That xp antivirus 2012 thing has
apparently over written some files
that allow access to the modem.

I can't get this pc back on line,
tried all kinds of things from blogs
that others say will do the trick.
Nothing worked.

Uninstalled programs and drivers.
Reinstalled programs and drivers.
On the bright side I'm learning a
lot more about computer programing.

I know what files are changed but
just can't find the one to delete.
Tomorrow I'll run a search by date
to try and isolate it by that means.

Once that's done and deleated I'll
turn toward getting the printer up.
I think all I have to do is reinstall
the printer drivers but who knows?

tv ads trying to sell you everything
that in time you figure out that you
don't need and shouldn't have bought.

Today I saw a tv ad for a Chia Obama,
you put seeds on his clay head and
he grows an afro hairdo or something.

Another is a gadget that replaces the
shell of an egg before you boil it.
I'm not kidding!

You break the egg open and drop the whole
egg into this egg shaped plastic ball
and cook it until the egg is hard boiled.
Then you open the plastic to reveal a
perfectly shelled hard boiled egg.

But wait there's more, if you call now
you get a second piece of crab free!

AND they'll throw in a useless whatever,
